    Amentum is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated **Training Specialist (Developer)** to join our Position, Navigation and Timing Program in **Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.**

     

    You are open to learning new tasks and systems, while also utilizing your experience with TRADOC Training Development Capability (TDC). As a traveler, you will enjoy performing in multiple roles supporting this program, including participating in test events, and traveling as part of the training team when they perform New Equipment Training. You are a committed team member who enjoys designing, developing, and delivering technical and organizational development training (both classroom training and e-learning), along with assisting functional areas with developing competency-based training. You will rapidly integrate into the Training Team so that you can have access to those personnel who already know the work and become active in the processes quickly.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Designs, develops, and delivers technical and organizational development training (both classroom training and e-learning), along with assisting functional areas with developing competency-based training. This includes training in the areas of general and advanced knowledge of current regulations, functional job knowledge and skill development, compliance, management development, and software competency.

    + Assesses needs, develops curriculum and tools to measure effectiveness that will lead to developing a TRADOC Compliant Training Support Package suitable for seamless integration into applicable TRADOC Schools as well as for New Equipment Training for Operators, Leaders, and Unit Level Maintenance personnel during unit fielding operations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least 6 years of Training Development and Training Delivery

    + Graduate of Military training certification course or 1 year experience with military training programs.

    + Managed technical training development efforts for 3 or more months, as well as managed technical teams of 3 or more technical personnel.

    + Experience preparing technical reports or papers.

    + Possess a valid Driver’s License

    + Must have a valid U.S. passport or acquire one within the first 90 days of employment. Occasional travel is required up to 35% of the time in both CONUS and OCONUS.

    + Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Military Experience including Training Development and Training Execution

    + General Understanding of Position, Navigation and Timing System (GPS)

    + General understanding of and ability to interact with Active Duty Military personnel of all ranks.

    + Experience and/or Understanding of the TRADOC Training Development Capability (TDC).
