Under regular supervision, performs diversified tasks with responsibilities for shipping and receiving procedures. Regularly adapts procedures to complete assignments, and serves as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues.

Primary responsibilities include:

+ Prepares all shipping documents and correspondence pertaining to the work of the department in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate orally or in written form professionally and effectively with co-workers, departments, drivers, customers and vendors as well.

+ Must be able to understand quality standards, methods, procedures and reporting as required.

+ Responsible to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.

+ Reviews and prepares reports; selects and interprets information to be included, ensures accuracy of all documents and will be required to handle confidential information with professionalism.

+ With supervision, demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems, interpret, resolving problems and issues using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

+ Coordinating assigned shipping and receiving tasks to expedite an order, process a transaction or ship a product, to include arranging the loading/unloading of products, and customer orders to be moved, gathered or distributed.

+ Maintain inventory of shipping materials and office/freezer supplies and distribute as directed.

Shift: Night Shift. Hours range from 4:30 PM - 4:30 AM Sunday - Saturday. Generally, work 4 days per week, 10-11.5 hours each day.
