    Job Description:

    The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at The University of Florida is seeking applicants who wish to pursue an academic career in Laryngology. We are looking to hire at the rank of Clinical Assistant / Associate Professor multi-mission track.

     

    The desired candidate will possess a strong commitment to the triple academic mission: clinical care, research and teaching.

     

    We are looking for partners who will flourish in a team environment focused on providing full spectrum laryngology. We expect that the candidate will be skilled in airway, voice and swallowing evaluation and intervention.

     

    The candidate will have the opportunity to teach medical students, residents and a fellow. Teaching resources including skill labs, inter-college collaborations and artificial intelligence technology are available to advance the candidates teaching mission. Clinic and translational research endeavors are highly supported through the College of Medicine.

     

    Rank and Tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

    Expected Salary:

    Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and training.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Applicant must be board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology and licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida.

     

    Fellowship training in Laryngology is a prerequisite.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:Strong interest in clinical care, teaching and research.

    Final candidate will be required to provide an official transcript to the hiring department upon hire. Degrees earned from an education institution outside the of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by the National Associate of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), which can be found at http://www.naces.org/
