    Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Program Assistant to join our Behavioral Health and Reentry Services team. In this essential front-line role, you'll help ensure the smooth, safe, and respectful operation of our residential facilities—supporting clients as they rebuild their lives and transition toward greater independence.

     

    This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who values structure, has a calm and professional presence, and is motivated by meaningful, mission-driven work.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Conduct hourly facility rounds, monitor census, and ensure safety compliance

    + Coordinate new client orientation, pass procedures, and curfew tracking

    + Perform client room and facility inspections, search procedures, and safety checks

    + Schedule and log medical appointments and meals; notify appropriate staff

    + Monitor client medication procedures and record accordingly

    + Document incidents, disciplinary actions, and maintain daily operational logs

    + Support case management and ensure adherence to operational and security procedures

    + Greet and screen visitors, manage sign-ins, and operate security equipment

    + Conduct drug and alcohol screenings as needed and report findings

    + Assist with clerical tasks and support special programming and training requirements

    What You Need:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Experience in human services preferred but not required

    + Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm, professional, and organized

    + Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards

    + Ability to pass required background clearance

    + Bilingual fluency is a plus
