    **Description:** You will be an FPGA Design Engineering Manager for the ATWS program at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control \(MFC\)\. Our team is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U\.S\. and allied militaries, and we're seeking a talented leader to join our team\.

    What you Will be Doing

    As an FPGA Design Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution\. You will be a technical leader, coach, and mentor, responsible for developing your team's skills and expertise, and ensuring the successful delivery of program requirements\. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    • Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, and continuous ongoing feedback

    • Coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition, and disciplinary actions

    • Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, and promoting customer focus

    • Leveraging your experience in FPGA design and multiple discipline integrated product teams to lead your team to success

    This position is in Orlando\. Discover more about our Orlando, Florida location\.

     

    MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\. A company\-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    \- Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering degree or equivalent

     

    \- Minimum industry experience of 10 years with FPGA/PLD or circuit card design engineering

     

    \- Previous leadership experience

     

    \- Ability to work well with engineering and operation teams, cross functional partners, or stakeholders

     

    \- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills

     

    \- Ability to obtain a secret clearance

    Desired Skills:

    \- Experience with LM Design Assurance process for FPGAs and/or Circuit Cards

     

    \- Familiar with Xilinx tools

     

    \- Familiar with leading a team of at least 5 people

    \- Cost Account Manager \(CAM\) experience

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Clearance Level:** Secret

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
