We have developed best-in-class collaboration models with agencies and our cross-company creative network to ensure a consistent and strong creative narrative for work that reaches an audience across the globe due to the scale of our products.We are looking for a program management leader with demonstrated shopper marketing experience who knows how to drive a retail strategy of the customer's journey from awareness to purchase, improving the customer experience and driving sales for all Reality Labs products. You will manage a team of 5 direct reports plus 3 full-time contractors and partner with the Creative Director of Design to manage the entire Retail program at Meta (17,000 doors globally and growing).
Required Skills:
Retail Program Lead (Creative X) Responsibilities:
1. Understand overall company brand strategy, the various product-specific brand strategies and how they all connect to retail business
2. Influence Marketing and Sales Go-To-Market plans to develop and implement retail programs, ensuring alignment with company and business objectives as well as strategic and creative direction.
3. Plan annual approach, prioritize projects and coordinate resourcing needs for all retail programs based on impact, business objectives and team availability
4. Effectively lobby support for new, innovative initiatives and ways of working
5. Central point of contact for Creative X team, Marketing, Sales, Merchandising and agencies
6. Build and maintain relationships with internal (Creative X, Marketing, Sales/Merchandising, Product Design) and external stakeholders (vendors and retail partners)
7. Consult with cross-functional teams as the Retail subject matter experts across initiatives and to share Retail education and best practices
8. Manage relationships with external design/production agencies globally, ensuring they meet contractual requirements and deliver high-quality products or services.
9. Clearly and concisely communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
10. Supervise multiple retail projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control
11. ensuring timely and successful completion.
12. Define scope & deliverables, team resourcing, budget forecasting and actualization at the project level
13. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and business metrics to refine program strategies and ensure effectiveness.
14. Monitor program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
15. Manage program budgets, including forecasting, spending tracking, and cost control
16. Manage creative reviews with key stakeholders and executive leadership
17. Anticipate team and program needs
18. prioritizing competing needs by taking a broad perspective to problems and identifying strategic and creative solutions
19. Support a high-performing team of program managers in setting priorities, ensuring cross-functional support & resources, and unblocking as they navigate work streams across the company
Minimum Qualifications:

20. 12+ years retail experience in program and project management at a creative or design agency or an in-house brand/marketing team
21. 5+ years people management experience, including managing performance and career growth for experienced individual contributors
22. Understanding of the retail industry, including trends, best practices, and challenges.
23. Experience building First Party and Third Party global retail programs (ideally with hardware experience) that have demonstrably impacted a brand's trajectory
24. Experience crafting clear and concise emails, reports & documents for a broad range of stakeholders
25. Experience leading and motivating teams at all levels, building consensus, and managing conflict.
26. Experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and making decisions based on learnings.
27. Experience working under your own initiative, staying organized and remaining process oriented in a time-sensitive, ambiguous, highly collaborative cross functional environment, managing stakeholder dynamics in a large matrixed organization
28. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in program and project management
Public Compensation:
$172,000/year to $241,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
