    The Facility Supervisor advises and coordinates all Plant facility maintenance in addition to leading all reactive and proactive repair needs for the facility. The Facility Supervisor will coordinate facility maintenance activities with the various department leaders to ensure timely repairs and proactive communication on timelines of repairs. Directly supervises facility technicians, maintenance specialists & janitorial staff. Will also take care of outside contractors regularly.

    As a Facilities Supervisor, You Will:

    + Facilities and property management; purchasing related to facilities

    + Run hourly facility maintenance workforce.

    + Maintain and improve the existing work order system.

    + Lead all facility regulatory requirements that are not safety related for the plant.

    + Facilities Planning: space planning, facility infrastructure condition assessment

    + Facilities Security

    + Planning maintenance programs for buildings and grounds of an organization

    + RFPs when required & coordinating contractors

    + Supervise the planning of space allocation and changes

    + Additional duties as assigned

    Required Education, Experience & Skills:

    + High School Diploma

    + 5+ years of facility related experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + 5+ years of supervisory experience of union employees

    + Proven experience managing facilities and property, including Purchasing related to facilities

    + Experience in work order systems; including tracking, metrics, and data collection & analysis

    + Experienced in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations); supervising and managing resources needed to keep facilities and operations running smoothly.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience handling employee relation issues

    + Knowledge of and experience in adhering to manufacturing safety standards

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

    + Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role now or in the future

    Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

    + 10 years of related experience

    + Oracle ERP experience

     

    Schedule

     

    This role's general working hours are 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM CST Monday through Friday, with an occasional 6-hour shift required on a Saturday every 6-8 weeks.
