    Spectrum Plastics Group is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to work in our Pleasant Prairie, WI plant. Your commitment to work safety and product safety are essential success factors. Your troubleshooting and problem-solving skills will result in maximizing uptime, efficiency and output. This is s full time position.

     

    Essential Job Functions

     

    + Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment as well as general building maintenance.

    + Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Design, implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.

    + Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements.

    + Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

    + Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, & machine operators

    + Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Excellent mechanical aptitude

    + Familiar with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics

    + Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers

    + Read, write, and understand English

    + Read interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings.

    + Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

    + Prior background in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing a strong plus.

    + Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic.

    + Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus.

    + Self-starter with willingness to perform other related duties as required

    + Able to work overtime as required

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical and/or other areas is a plus

    Work Experience:

    + 3-6 years of industrial maintenance or a similar environment performing comparable tasks as required for this position.
