    General Statement

     

    Gallatin College seeks qualified individuals to provide non-tenurable level instruction and/or related functions.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Gallatin College seeks course instructors to teach in Bozeman in the following specialty areas:

    + Phlebotomy

    Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills

    + Appropriate Allied Health credential in Phlebotomy or related field with at least 2 years of work experience utilizing all aspects of blood and specimen collection skill set.

    + Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues within and outside the department

    Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills

    + Prior teaching experience.

    + Understanding of the two-year college mission

    + Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity

    The Program

    Students completing the Certificate of Applied Science—Phlebotomy will acquire the skills necessary for entry-level jobs in medical labs, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare settings. Students will gain knowledge and skills in proper blood and specimen collection, communication, and safety protocols.
