This is a position to help grow our Personal Training department by working in a creative, fun and upbeat atmosphere where every day is different. THE BASICS * Hiring for immediate fill PART TIME Personal Training position at Anytime Fitness Stallings * Typical standard schedule will be Monday - Thursday, afternoons to evenings (2PM - 7PM) * Ability to work/commute to Matthews/Stallings within 30 minutes or less REQUIRED - Out of state applications, relocation and/or commutes longer than 30 min +/- will not be considered for this position Personal Trainer The Personal Trainer’s focus is on helping the member "Make Healthy Happen" by employing both Anytime Fitness and the personal trainer’s creative approach. Each member will receive an initial fitness consultation that will set the PT on a path for establishing a 1-1 rapport with the member. With access to a facility that includes any/all types of the latest equipment available, the personal trainer will guide the member to their greatest levels of personal achievement in physical health. Additionally, through best-in-class “Train-the-Trainer” programs, the PT will have access to dozens of hours of continuing education. What we offer: * Robust compensation plan which includes: * Guaranteed base pay starting at $15/hr * Sales commissions on monthly remits * Spot bonuses based on performance * Annual review/club performance bonus * 401(k) benefits available after minimum waiting period has been met (90 days) and annualized hours worked requirement (1000+ hours) has been met. * Paid time off available after minimum service years have been met (1 yr+) * Continuing education credits fully paid for by company through Club Connect educational system Responsibilities: * Motivate and train the member in a 1:1 setting or in a collaborative session utilizing our AF Training options of Team Training (Base, Build, Burn) or Small Group Training (SGT) * Match Anytime Fitness personal training programs - in conjunction with the Personal Trainer’s expertise - with the member’s goals and abilities * Conduct fitness consultations to ensure the member’s goals are tracked/bench-marked through regular 6 week check-ins and Evolt 360 body composition testing * Track, monitor and report each member’s progress while working to continue an ongoing personal training regimen with each client utilizing our integrated Coaching Dashboard * Successful Personal Trainers continue education of each member and create long-term relationships utilizing many touch points ranging from the Coaching Dashboard, in person consultations and training, follow-up outreach (phone, text, email), etc... * All other duties as assigned which include but are not limited to; marketing efforts through email and phone calls, cleaning and organization of club, participation in club sponsored community events Qualifications: * Personal training certification(s) are REQUIRED and issued from a nationally recognized accrediting agency (Ex: NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, etc...) * Current CPR/AED certification * Minimum 1+ years PT experience is preferred in either a fitness facility or private training environment * Previous experience with fitness club management software is a plus but not required * Superior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals * Desire to continually learn new principles in the areas of training, overall fitness, health and nutrition * Hands on training and experience in areas such as corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention, are a plus
