    Description

    We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor with a CPA and public accounting/industry experience to join our team. This role is in the service industry and is located near Westlake, TX. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be involved in various accounting and management tasks, including processing financial data, coordinating audits, and developing the accounting team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyzing and processing financial data for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close

    • Ensuring accurate reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

    • Generating monthly financial executive packages and controlling books, including budget to actual comparisons by department

    • Leading external financial audits and coordinating accordingly

    • Creating external monthly and quarterly reporting packages for Board meeting decks

    • Managing treasury functions to ensure timely payments to vendors and accurate cash forecasts

    • Offering technical accounting GAAP mentorship and external reporting support to the Company

    • Upholding and updating accounting and reporting policies

    • Assisting in the growth of the accounting team, including staffing, performance management, and training

    • Utilizing accounting software systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and other skills related to accounting functions, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), auditing, billing functions, DCAA, and full cycle accounting.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related field. CPA/public audit experience required.

    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

    • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

    • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

    • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Proficiency in Auditing techniques and practices

    • Familiarity with Billing Functions

    • Knowledge of DCAA regulations

    • Experience in Full Cycle Accounting

    • Understanding of Costing techniques and strategies
