Position: Insurance Verification Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay Rate: $16–$17 per hour
Work Type: 100% Onsite
Bonus: Monthly bonus potential upon conversion to a permanent role
What You’ll Do:
+ Review and set up damage claims for billing or liability referral.
+ Validate proper insurance coverages and billing adjustments using rental agreement data.
+ Handle incoming calls from customers, insurers, or company locations to determine if information should be added to an existing file, referred to a Third Party Administrator, or if a new file should be opened. Properly document all new cases using pre-established formats.
+ Ensure accurate and timely billing of all claims.
+ Receive and research written correspondence related to billing, collections, adjustments, or disputes.
+ Meet or exceed assigned performance targets.
+ Manage aging accounts in accordance with company guidelines.
+ Maintain professionalism in all interactions with customers, both internal and external.
+ Maximize collection efforts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
+ Keep detailed and accurate documentation of all collection and verification activity.
+ Follow a structured process for account reviews and customer outreach.
+ Collaborate with Customer Relations when dealing with sensitive account matters.
+ Escalate cases where there are signs of financial instability.
+ Respond to inquiries within 24 hours to support excellent customer service.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Education:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Some college coursework preferred.
Experience:
+ Prior office experience required.
+ Experience in a larger office environment where collaboration across departments is necessary is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
+ Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
+ Solid communication skills—both written and verbal.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
