Description We are seeking a knowledgeable Attorney/Lawyer to join our team within the construction industry, located in Bridgeview, Illinois. As an Attorney/Lawyer, your key responsibilities will include managing a diverse range of legal issues, drafting and reviewing various legal documents, and maintaining our legal forms. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the drafting, negotiation, and review of legal documents such as construction contracts, service contracts, and SaaS agreements.

• Handle the preparation of mechanics liens and related documents, including the research of real estate ownership records.

• Undertake the processing and investigation of new personal injury, workers' compensation, and property damage claims in collaboration with the Safety Department.

• Compile discovery documents and handle the drafting and answering of discovery requests for litigation matters.

• Oversee the maintenance and renewal of annual filings, business, and contractor's licenses for multiple entities.

• Carry out the compilation and review of M& A due diligence, perform research, and complete tasks needed to integrate newly acquired businesses into company systems.

• Update, as required, all legal forms dispensed by the company.

• Take on other duties on an as needed basis. Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge and practice of Construction Law

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating Commercial Contracts

• Experience in Personal Injury Law

• Proven track record in Personal Injury Litigation

• Must have a valid attorney license

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficient in legal research and writing

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High level of integrity and detail-oriented accountability

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to staying updated with latest legal developments in the construction industry
