SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Join our dedicated Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team in Austin, TX, as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee. We're looking for motivated individuals who are in the early stages of their pharmacy careers and hold (or are in the process of obtaining) a Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee License. This role offers hands on experience in a supportive environment focused on patient care and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

+ Label medications and verify patient and drug information

+ Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies, as needed

+ Comply with all federal and state pharmacy regulations

+ Support the day-to-day operations of the LTC pharmacy team

+ Uphold cleanliness and organization in work areas

Qualifications

+ Active Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee License (required to begin employment)

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Previous pharmacy experience preferred

+ Previous data entry experience preferred

+ Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned

+ Good organizational skills and detail oriented

+ Ability to physically perform light lifting
