    Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS Requirements

     

    + Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor

    + Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff, primarily through email

    + Utilize various applications (myQlink, OmniCenter) to obtain reports

    + Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)

    + Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing

    + Replace potentially expiring inventory

    + Restock depleted inventory

    + Pull and pack medications for daily routes

    + Code controlled substances, when applicable

    + Monthly audits (cycle count)

    + Prepares standard documentation and reports to include discrepancies, expense reports, and others as directed

    + Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

     

    Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS Qualifications

     

    + NJ Pharmacy Technician Registration Required, in process or willing to obtain after hire

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)

    + Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred

    + Good organizational skills and detail oriented

    + Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle

    + Availability and flexibility to work after hours when needed during peak times

    + Ability to physically perform light lifting

    + Willing to drive long distances in the state of NJ, NY and PA.
