    Hours Per Week: 40 Hours/week

     

    Hiring Range : $65,769.60 - $82,950.40

    Responsibilities:

    • Develops, implements and evaluates program services and initiatives which support the strategic plan and vision.

    • As a clinical leader and member of a multidisciplinary team, provides clinical assessment of patient's status and collaborates with ancillary services to provide appropriate care. Refers patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluations as indicated.

    • Provides professional expertise and education to multidisciplinary team. Acts as resource to other disciplines.

    • Communicates complex/sensitive information to patients and medical team.

    • Hires, trains, develops and evaluates staff. Assigns tasks and prioritizes and coordinates work.

    • Oversees performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.

    • Collaborates with others to assist with problem identification and resolution, and optimization of patient care and systems/performance measures.

    • Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to insure compliance with budget guidelines.

    Complexity of Work:

    • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • Required Credential(s):

    • One or more of the following:

    • Social Worker credentialed from New York State obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    • Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from New State obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    • Counselor specializing in Mental Health credentialed from New York State obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    • Psychologist credentialed from New York State obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    Education:

    • Master Degree in social work or related field required

    Work Experience:

    • 3 years of experience required.

    • 1 year of leadership or management experience required.

     

    Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English
