14845BRDepartment Name:HSP Administration Location:Meriter Hospital Job Description: The Executive Assistant will provide support to identified UnityPoint Health-Meriter Executive(s), represent Administration by supporting committees as assigned and serve as a member of the Administration office team, setting and achieving individual goals as well as contributing to achievement of organization goals in support of the UnityPoint Health mission.
Primary Duties Include:
- Provide administrative support to assigned UnityPoint-Meriter Executive(s) ensuring all operational needs are met. Duties could include but are not limited to calendar management, meeting preparation and minutes. Perform efficiently and effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks to fulfill all basic executive assistant duties with a consistent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Act as liaison between the executives and others, assuring that information is channeled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
- Proactively maintain a working knowledge of the executives’ obligations and responsibilities to assist in managing work products, timelines and priorities.
- Take initiative and work as a team member to ensure smooth and efficient flow of information and support timely, informed decision making by executives.

Required Qualifications:
* High school graduate with a related 2-year associate degree or applicable experience in lieu of the degree.
* 3-5 years of progressive experience as an assistant at the executive level or 5+ years at a management level.
* Advanced organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, perform efficiently and effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks, work independently, take initiative, and work as a member of a team.
