    Position Overview:

    First Division Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer in Dahlgren, VA. This position requires expertise in system analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting to optimize business and technical system requirements.

     

    The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise architecture, database management, testing, and reporting, along with proficiency in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and enterprise architecture tools such as IBM’s System Architect.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration to enhance IT system efficiency.

    + Research, analyze, and document business and technical requirements to support system development.

    + Develop and manage procedures, workflows, and technical documentation to streamline operations.

    + Perform application testing and validation to ensure functionality aligns with system requirements.

    + Provide database management support, including performance tuning and optimization.

    + Utilize DoDAF and enterprise architecture tools to design and document system architectures.

    + Generate reports and data analytics to support decision-making and performance evaluation.

    + Develop and deliver training sessions for personnel on system updates, best practices, and compliance.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + Six (6) years of professional experience in:

    + Implementation of business and technical requirements.

    + System analysis, planning, and development.

    + Application testing and database management support.

    + Experience with DoDAF and enterprise architecture tools, such as IBM’s System Architect.

    + Active Secret Clearance is required.

    + One of the following IT certifications:

    + CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)

    + CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional Security)

    + CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience working in DoD or government IT environments.

    + Familiarity with cloud-based system architectures and cybersecurity compliance frameworks.

    + Strong background in data analysis, system performance monitoring, and IT governance.
