    Summary:

    A Loan Analyst I provides general support for all of Loan Operations and lending staff in the bank. A loan analyst reviews documents and assists customers while maintaining policies and procedures. Previous experience not required.

    Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Provides general support to Loan Operations, Lenders, Originators, Processors, Managers, as well as First State Bank customers.

    + Reviews new loan instructions to ensure that proper documentation is provided.

    + Review of daily online transactions, review of posted payments, reconciling general ledgers, review of maintenance and other transactions.

    + Processing loan paperwork and documentation needed for compliance.

    + Processing loan transactions in the current teller system.

     

    Other Job Duties

     

    + File and/or scan documents.

    + Loan payoff quotes.

    + General loan file maintenance.

    + QC documents scanned in to the imaging storage software.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    + Customer and Personal Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

    + English Language -- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

    + Mathematics -- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
