Assist the Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Food Service Department, its programs and activities.     This is a Per diem position at Bensonhurst Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare located in Brooklyn, NY.

     

    Job Type: Per diem ( Tuesday and Wednesday 12pm-8pm)

     

    + Supervises employees engaged in serving food to residents, maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment.

    + Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operations.

    + Supervises serving of meals.

    + Inspects kitchen and dining areas, kitchen utensils, and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.

    + May direct preparation of foods and beverages

    + Must be able to work as a team member

    Requirements:

    + Supervisory Food Service experience at a healthcare facility with 1-2 years required.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Must be able to work as a team member.

    + Ability to work effectively and efficiently.

    + A positive and upbeat attitude

    + Fully Vaccinated Individual
