Position Overview

_General Summary:_

_Responsible for all levels of painting for primarily residential but occasional commercial structures, including but not limited to, odor seal, structural painting of assigned construction jobs as well as the interaction of customers and any other entities involved in those assigned jobs_

_Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_

1. _Develops and maintains positive working relationship and goodwill with property owners, property tenants, subcontractors, vendors, in-house employees and any other involved parties._

2. _Performs all levels of structural painting with quality workmanship and skills including but not limited to:_

1. _Paint bases and proper uses for all the various surfaces and elements_

2. _Knowledge with tools and purpose to use and obtain desired results_

3. _Proficient in application and techniques, texturing, blending, patch work, cut-ins, etc._

4. _Drywalling, taping and sanding_

3. _Orders and delivers, if necessary, job materials. Returning any unused material for credit to company account._

4. _Adheres to the budget of each job to prevent the overspending and waste of labor and material costs_

5. _Monitors job sites to ensure high standards of material quality and workmanship_

6. _Monitors job sites to ensure high safety and security standards, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), meeting internal regulations as well as OSHA regulations._

7. _Maintains a safe and organized work area by performing job site clean up throughout and at the end of the day._

8. _Assists Project Manager with obtaining and processing some required documents from the property owner and any other requiring entities and monitors the timeline of in-house workforce, subcontractors and material orders deliveries_

9. _Directs communication from the property owners, property tenants, subcontractors, vendors, and any other involved parties to the Project Manager_

10. _Assist restoration technicians, from time to time, on emergency jobs_

11. _Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates_

_Job Specifications_

_Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:_

1. _Fluent knowledge of construction-specific budgets_

2. _Fluent knowledge of federal, state and city construction codes and regulations_

3. _Fluent knowledge of work site safety and OSHA regulations_

4. _Knowledge of general insurance industry standards regarding insurance property claims_

5. _Skills to read blue prints and floor plans_

6. _Ability to provide strong customer service qualities as well as good work ethics_

7. _Ability to communicate well with clients, in-house crews, administration and management_

8. _Ability to physically perform the required job duties_

_Education and Experience:_

This position requires 5-7 years experience in painting, of which must include concentration of all aspects and phases of construction, primarily residential but occasional commercial structure.
