SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Mostly onsite, with occasional ability to work remotely. Travel to hospital sites supporting virtual services is required
The clinical development and implementation specialist (CDIS) – Penn State Health Virtual LLC will focus on prioritizing virtual clinical projects, identifying and resolving problems with virtual implementation along with providing related training for both the virtual team and client. The CDIS will work closely with multiple functions and teams across the organization to drive real impact and outcomes. They will function as a trusted advisor driving early adoption, training, and implementation of the programs. Core competencies required for success include leadership, communication, problem-solving, flexibility, and process improvement
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:** The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
+ Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, both within Penn State Health, and externally, including vendors, providers, clinical staff, and other potential clients.
+ Organize and manage training programs at various sites.
+ Act as instructor during clinical training courses.
+ Assist with industry literature searches and reviews.
+ Write, review, and edit key training presentations, materials and course content.
+ Mentor and coach team members to facilitate successful achievement of team goals and implementation of virtual care programs.
+ Launch Virtual Health products, programs and services in partnership with vendors.
+ Support key projects end to end.
+ Support the delivery of enterprise virtual tools that allow the team to seamlessly configure and manage new clients across partnerships, health systems, strategic programs, and implementation services.
+ Lead and support projects that aim to improve virtual care venues.
+ Use organization wide and departmental KPIs to drive prioritization and decision-making.
+ Manage multiple implementations simultaneously, assisting teams to deliver launches on time in the clinical setting.
+ Support go-to-market and pilot programs.
+ Will perform all duties of the Clinical Case Manager- Virtual Health position when needed for staffing and to maintain clinical skillset.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
+ Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
+ MSN or intent to complete MSN within three (3) years of hire.
+ Three (3) years RN critical care nursing experience.
+ Licensed to practice as a RN Registered Nurse by the state of employment required.
+ Three (3) years clinical experience in ICU required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
+ CCRN certification
+ Trauma Training certification
+ Preferred Experience in Cerner PowerChart
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite preferred
+ Telepresence and presentation skills preferred
