_Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality personal care products, is seeking a QC Microbiologist to join their team in San Bernardino County, CA!_

**Job type:** Contract-hire

**Location:** San Bernadino County, CA

**Pay rate:** $22- $26/ hr.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct microbiological testing on various samples (bulk, raw materials, finished goods).

+ Perform preservative efficiency/challenge testing when needed.

+ Follow and execute testing protocols based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

+ Maintain document control systems for testing documentation.

+ Ensure calibration of testing equipment meets quality control standards.

+ Maintain departmental logbooks and provide clerical support (reports, memos, spreadsheets).

+ Communicate via email, phone, and fax when necessary.

+ Adhere to GMP and safety protocols and wear required PPE.

+ Assist other QC areas as needed and perform additional duties.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field (or equivalent coursework and lab experience).

+ Knowledge of microbiological methodologies and practices.

+ Proficient in written and verbal communication (English).

+ Proficient in statistical/mathematical analysis.

+ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

+ Familiar with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
