Job Description
Position Summary:
As part of the commercial finance organization, you will provide financial analysis and solutions to support our commercial activities. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team that is dedicated to excellence and innovation!
Key Responsibilities:
+ Review, identify, and implement customer incentives for our contract customers
+ Apply PPI processes to determine areas for improvement in customer incentives automation
+ Prepare and provide accurate, timely analyses to communicate business results, variances, and performance trends, making recommendations to drive profitability
+ Collaborate with business partners to identify and mitigate issues that impede the achievement of business goals
+ Work with internal departments to implement pricing and financial terms for new customer contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms
+ Assist with other contract activities such as annual price roll and pricing compliance
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
**Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or other relevant fields with equivalent experience considered
**Experience** : 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
+ Demonstrated robust financial acumen in areas including financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, internal control, and technical accounting knowledge
+ Exhibit leadership, initiative, and embody Thermo Fisher Scientific's 4-I values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
+ Strong attention to detail with commitment to providing quality results
+ Proven ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate information, draw conclusions from data, and benchmark results against appropriate baselines
+ Ability to analyze and communicate variances to management while identifying and implementing operational improvements
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey analysis and presentations clearly to management
+ History of participating in cross-functional teams and building strong interpersonal relationships with peers and partners
+ Ability to balance multiple assignments, exercise good judgment, and prioritize projects and time efficiently
+ Dedication to continuous learning and professional development, seeking opportunities to stretch capabilities
+ Excellent skills with MS Excel and COGNOS; preferred skills with Power BI, Salesforce, Database (SQL)
