Description

The Department of Medicine, Infectious Diseases Division is seeking a highly qualified and motived candidates for a full-time faculty position.

The faculty member will focus on their own research training and faculty career development and will also provide a mixture of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities on the General Infectious Diseases Services. Research activities may include clinical, translational or basic research projects. Other activities may include teaching and supervision of trainees and students. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree and be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Diseases. The ability to work with others and communicate effectively in a group, team-oriented working environment is a must. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.

Qualifications

Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date

Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Must meet all credentialing requirements

Eligible for Board Certification in Infectious Diseases

Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
