Position Overview

We are looking for a Lead Sitework/water - sewer - drainage Estimator with a minimum of 10 years’ experience estimating in this field. An ideal candidate would be self-motivated, honest, driven, responsible and punctual, with a good work ethic, respect, and integrity with the ability to work well with others in a team environment. Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowing Spanish is a plus but not required. SMC requires a background check and is a drug free work place with random testing.

Qualifications & Skills Include but are not Limited To:

+ Minimum of 10 years estimating experience.

+ Proficient in Excel, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word

+ Evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that details have been reviewed to successfully provide the clients with an accurate price

+ Have a thorough understanding of scopes with the ability to read, understand and do take offs on blueprints

+ Prepare and submit proposals to clients

+ Prepare and submit purchase orders to vendors

+ Clean driving record with reliable transportation

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
