Corewell Health South Homecare provides the highest quality in-home care to those who need short-term assistance with daily life, activities, and specialized treatment modalities from infant to geriatric patients. Homecare addresses a critical need for affordable community-based healthcare. We maintain a high star rating per CMS for the quality of care provided.

Scope of Work

Using tools of consulting, mentoring, coaching and interprofessional collaboration, the nurse educator facilitates the professional role development and growth of nurses and other healthcare personnel along the continuum from novice to expert. Functions in the roles of change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion of scientific inquiry (application of research, evidence based practice and improvement science), and partner for clinical practice transitions.

Qualifications

Required

+ Bachelor's Degree Nursing

+ 5 years of relevant experience clinical experience related to area of focus

+ State of MI RN upon hire

+ BLS from ARC or AHA within 90 days

Preferred

+ Master's Degree Nursing Education or Adult Education

+ Education and program development experience
