Description:

The Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Services is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and management of the organization's cybersecurity strategy and IT infrastructure. This includes protecting sensitive information, ensuring business continuity, and maintaining a secure and efficient technology environment. The Director will lead a team of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.

Strategic Leadership and Vision:

+ Develop and execute an enterprise data strategy that aligns with Tutor Perini’s long-term business objectives and market positioning.

+ Lead the company’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure strategy, focusing on enterprise cybersecurity and infrastructure solutions, standards and automation to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve project timelines.

+ Build partnerships with executives, divisional leaders, and project managers to ensure cybersecurity and infrastructure solutions support strategic goals across all levels of the organization.

Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Strategy & Governance:

+ Oversee the design and implementation of robust platforms to ensure data quality, accessibility, consistency, and privacy.

+ Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with industry’s best practices and regulatory requirements

+ Lead the organization's incident response team, ensuring preparedness for and effective response to cybersecurity incidents.

+ Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.

+ Oversee the implementation and management of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security, and data loss prevention solutions.

+ Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, proactively adapting security measures to address new challenges.

+ Assists in the evaluation and creation of hardware standards for all aspects of the IT infrastructure and Security.

+ Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, cloud services, and end-user computing.

+ Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to support business operations.

Operational Excellence:

+ Drive the implementation of data-driven processes across construction, procurement, and engineering teams to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

+ Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using AI and robotic process automation (RPA) tools to enhance project delivery and cost management.

+ Ensure that cybersecurity and infrastructure solutions deliver measurable value by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and aligning with industry benchmarks.

Team Leadership & Development:

+ Build and lead a high-performing team of cybersecurity, networking, identity and system engineers and administrators to execute the company’s cybersecurity and infrastructure strategy.

+ Support a data-driven culture across the enterprise, ensuring that employees at all levels understand the value of data and are empowered to make informed decisions.

+ Develop a talent pipeline by mentoring and training IT professionals to support Tutor Perini’s growth and innovation goals.

Requirements:

+ 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a cybersecurity leadership role.

+ Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.

+ Proven ability to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies.

+ Five (5) years or more of experience managing IT infrastructure, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, and cloud services

+ Two (2) years or more of experience administering a Microsoft Office 365 tenant account, including Exchange Online and Azure AD.

+ Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively to support cybersecurity and IT infrastructure initiatives.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Proven ability to lead and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity and IT infrastructure team of [approximate size] professionals.

+ Experience with performance management, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.

+ Proven track record of implementing cybersecurity and infrastructure solutions within large-scale organizations, preferably within construction, engineering, or a related industry.

+ Experience managing vendors, contracts, and cost accounts over $5M.

+ Deep understanding of enterprise data governance, compliance, and security protocols.

+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

+ Ability to translate complex technology concepts into strategic business opportunities, fostering innovation and competitive advantage.

+ Strong knowledge of construction industry trends, with the ability to apply IT solutions to project management, supply chain logistics, and construction technologies.

+ A forward-thinking, strategic mindset with a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business transformation.

+ A commitment to fostering innovation while delivering measurable business results.

+ Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, building trust and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field

+ Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security are highly desirable.

+ Experience supporting a global infrastructure in a large multi-site environment.

+ Experience working in a 24/7 support environment.
