    POSITION SUMMARY :

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Graveyard Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Graveyard Laundry Attendant will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our laundry facilities during the overnight hours. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, efficiency, and reliability in performing laundry tasks.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

    + Operate industrial washing and drying machines to clean linens, towels, robes, and other laundry items.

    + Sort and separate laundry items according to type, color, and fabric content.

    + Pretreat stains and perform spot cleaning as necessary.

    + Fold and stack clean laundry items neatly for storage or distribution.

    + Monitor and replenish laundry supplies such as detergent, fabric softener, and bleach.

    + Ensure that laundry facilities are always kept clean and orderly.

    + Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

    + Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

    + Adhere to established schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS :

    + Must be at least 18 years of age.

    + Basic knowledge of housekeeping cleaning practices.

    + Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other personnel.

    + Ideally possesses a high level of attention to detail.

    + Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

    + Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and special events dates

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND LICENSES :

    + Minimum of 6 months experience in a housekeeping role.

    + Current driver’s license with clean driving record.

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (with or without accommodations)

     

    + Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies, such as telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, and e-mail.

    + Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours at a time.

    + Ability to twist, kneel, bend, and stoop repeatedly when cleaning.

     

    WAGE RANGE: $23.50 - $24.00 per hour
