Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking an experienced Therapist II who can adapt to each client’s unique needs while demonstrating strong knowledge and experience in implementing and coordinating treatment plans that are sensitive to various cultures and age groups.

The Therapist will provide comprehensive patient assessments, plan and implement therapeutic interventions, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care. Responsibilities also include managing the overall treatment process and discharge planning.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans for medically admitted patients facing psychiatric challenges. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age and cultural diversity of the patients served.

Qualifications

+ Education: Master's Degree Required Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field Required

+ Experience: One yr of experience Required

+ Licensure/Certification/Registration: LPC, LCSW, Clinic Psychologist, or LMFT Required For the Substance Use Therapist role, LCAS Required

+ Additional Skills Required: Good working knowledge of computers. Ability to care for Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Age Specific populations. NonViolent Crisis Intervention certification.
