Job Summary
The School of Public Health and Nutrition is seeking a Master’s of Public Health ( MPH ) Administrative Director. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 12-month, professional faculty position.
This position requires specialized knowledge and administrative, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective operations of the Master of Public Health ( MPH ), Accelerated Master’s Program ( AMP ), Concurrent and Dual-Degree programs and the Public Health Graduate Certificate program. The position resides in the School of Nutrition and Public Health , works under the direction of and reports to the School Head of Nutrition and Public Health, is a primary point of contact for the programs and students, and oversees and manages all administrative aspects of the programs.
Responsibilities also include recruitment, student support, strategic initiatives and special projects, and support to the School Head as it relates to the programs. This position may supervise employees.

Key Responsibilities
50% – OVERSEES AND MANAGES THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASPECTS OF NON - DOCTORAL PROGRAMS RELATED TO PUBLIC HEALTH (Master of Public Health ( MPH ), Accelerated Master’s Program ( AMP ),
35% –STUDENT SUPPORT
10% – ASSIST THE SCHOOL HEAD WITH STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
5% – OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
What You Will Need
+ Master’s degree in Public Health ( MPH ).
+ Training and/or experience in operations of computer and software applications (e.g., CORE , SOPHAS , MS Office Suite, Qualtrics, etc.).
+ Demonstrable leadership and organizational skills along with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple activities and establish goals.
+ Demonstrable skills and experience in effective collaboration, the ability to interact positively with both internal and external audiences, and capability to build strong work relationships.
+ Demonstrable superb interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written with diverse groups.
+ Demonstrable ability to be creative, supportive and thoughtful in problem-solving and decision-making, considering the diverse needs of students, college members and University partners.
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
What We Would Like You to Have
+ Experience working at an institution of higher education.
+ Experience with the College of Health, or other school or program of public health.
+ Experience working with MPH or other graduate students.
+ Demonstrable initiative and ability to make independent decisions and to take independent actions.
