Data Development Analyst Responsibilities:
1. Partner with Operations, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and develop scalable and sustainable data solutions.
2. Consult on processes to drive standardization across teams to drive operational efficiency and data integrity.
3. Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Meta's processes, internal tooling, and data architecture.
4. Build/maintain business layer data infrastructure (data pipelines, aggregated data sets, reports, dashboards) to monitor the performance of our operations and drive business understanding.
5. Influence and test product and product level data infrastructure that supports GRO business operation decision making and risk management.
6. Analyze data, conduct research, and synthesize feedback into technical solutions, projects, processes and playbooks.
Minimum Qualifications:

7. Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
8. Requires 5 years of experience involving the following:
9. 1. Querying and manipulating complex raw datasets (ETL) for analysis using SQL
10. 2. Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
11. 3. Reporting systems, data pipeline architecture and data modeling and data governance
12. 4. Explaining technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to varied audiences
13. 5. Translating business objectives into actionable analyses and designing business processes
14. 6. Cross-functional working partnerships with business, engineering, and product teams
15. 7. Advocating for new technology and analytics solutions to influence cross-functional roadmaps
16. 8. Working with petabytes of operations data
17. 9. Data warehouse architecture
18. 10. Design and develop centralized data repository model with deep understanding of product and user interactions across multiple systems, and evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs within systems
19. 11. Governance guardrails having privacy and security implications for data management and maturity
20. 12. Data foundation to enable longitudinal insights having long-term impact and capability to explore graph data infrastructure and event logging to produce insightful analysis
21. 13. Optimization techniques for effective capacity planning. Query tags and text-based annotations dataset having complex datatypes and
22. 14. Influence product and cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities to drive impact.
Public Compensation:
$203,952/year to $211,111/year + bonus + equity + benefits
