    What You'll Be Doing

    + Estimating and bidding construction projects for the NY Construction market

    + Set up schedules, purchase orders, subcontracts, and contract documents for project execution

    + Monitor budget and cost reports and research where changes may be appropriate

    + Ensure payments to various project vendors and subcontractors

    + Verification of final contract quantities with the customer, client, or government agency, particularly the Department of Transportation

    + Collaborate with the Environmental and Health & Safety departments to ensure all laws and regulations are met

    What Are We Looking For

    + Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or relevant discipline or at least 8 years of on the job work experience

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills

    + Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

    Work Environment

    + Role operates in a construction environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
