    Job Summary

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The purpose of this position is to work with the Grinnell College Golf Course grounds maintenance staff to maintain and improve the 56-acre 9-hole golf course.

     

    Responsibilities include mowing, string -trimming and other duties assigned by the turf specialist and assistant turf specialist.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Turf grass mowing

    + Landscape and tree care

    + Misc golf course grounds work

    Minimum Qualifications

    + High school diploma or general education degree ( GED )

    + Less than six months work experience

    + Ability to communicate effectively with team and golfers as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with golf course turf and mowers
