Our client, a leading player in the cybersecurity industry, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer – Security Systems to join their team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of the Security team supporting advanced security product development. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for cybersecurity, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** San Jose, CA, Fulton, MD or Austin, TX

What's the Job?

+ Design and develop high-performing backend systems for security products.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse security tools.

+ Lead the architecture of next-generation email security backend systems.

+ Ensure compliance with strict security standards and best practices.

+ Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

What's Needed?

+ 7+ years in backend software development on Linux, with expertise in databases and performance optimization.

+ 3+ years hands-on experience with Golang development.

+ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

+ Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field; a Master's degree is a plus.
