Director of Midwifery

GrowMidwives is recruiting qualified candidates to fill the position of Director of Midwifery, Cambridge Health Alliance in Boston, MA.

In this position, you will be responsible for 50% administrative oversight of the nurse midwifery service for the Department of OBGYN and 50% clinical work, providing care to a diverse population with births at either the newly refurbished freestanding birth center or inpatient hospital. You will have the chance to work alongside a historic, collaborative team in a teaching hospital that includes OBGYN, Family Medicine, and Certified Nurse-Midwives.

Required skills:

+ Master’s Degree in Nursing, MA RN, & CNM License

+ Minimum of 5 years clinical experience

+ Minimum 2 years previous administrative experience including program development and monitoring, fiscal performances, and staff supervision

+ Birth center midwifery practice preferred
