    Description

    We are in the market for a Network Engineer to join our team based in HERSHEY, Pennsylvania. This role is essential to our operations and will involve transitioning remote sites, handling physical migrations and configurations, and working closely with various teams. This position provides a long term contract employment opportunity.

     

    ***onsite position

    Responsibilities:

    • Taking the initiative to transition sites, coordinating with different groups and scheduling accordingly

    • Handling daily operational tasks and stepping in for the management team as needed

    • Leading physical migrations and configurations of network equipment

    • Collaborating with the voice team and resolving troubleshooting tickets

    • Demonstrating proficiency with Cisco routing and switching

    • Utilizing knowledge of Citrix NetScaler’s and IP Control DHCP

    • Configuring VRF, VLANS and managing the lifecycle of network equipment

    • Being prepared for occasional evening work as the situation demands

    • Serving as a senior-level resource, ready to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up time

    • Traveling to different hospitals in the area as part of the role

    Requirements

    • Deep understanding of Cisco Technologies

    • Ability to work with Citrix

    • Familiarity with DHCP

    • Doing physical migrations and configurations

    • Working with the voice team, troubleshooting tickets, etc

    • Someone who knows Citrix NetScaler’s

    • IP Control DHCP

    • Configure VRF, VLANS

    • Lifecycle of equipment (replacing switches, etc)
