Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Functional SAP Lead specializing in MM, PP, WM, and EWM to support internal SAP Go-Lives of acquisitions. Reporting to the Business Segment, the role requires close collaboration with site SMEs, the IT project team, and consultant partners. The ideal candidate will bring deep business SME knowledge along with hands-on full-cycle SAP implementations experience. In live implementations, the individual manages end-to-end business functional alignment while supporting diverse areas like customer service, supply chain, and finance. After project completion, responsibilities include supporting the business in SAP processes during post-go-live hyper care periods. Between implementation schedules, the role will also assist the Segment's material management organization with SAP business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a liaison between technical teams and functional business site SMEs, encouraging a standardized approach.
+ Manage day-to-day implementation activities, focusing on business processes and alignment.
+ Log and prioritize issues within the issue tracking system while maintaining status updates.
+ Analyze and document as-is processes, identify gaps, and define to-be process improvements.
+ Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and ensure functional specifications are met by the technical team.
+ Work together with technical teams on timelines and scheduling while facilitating training and user support.
+ Facilitate training sessions for users when appropriate.
+ Support pre-go-live site assessments and manage full implementation, from blueprinting through post-go-live stabilization
Requirements
Requirements:
+ 10+ years of relevant SAP experience, including 3-5 years of hands-on expertise in business functional roles (Materials or Warehouse Management) and at least one full-cycle SAP implementation.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
+ Manufacturing sector experience with a strong understanding of procurement and planning processes, inventory management principles, and warehouse operations.
+ Familiarity with SAP modules such as IM, WM, EWM, SD, PP, QM, PM, and IBP.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
+ Experience with S4 HANA, AATP, and FIORI.
+ Proven leadership in full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA and EWM implementations.
+ Knowledge of variant structure Bill of Materials (BOM) and specialized procurement processes like Sub-Contracting, Consignment, and Stock Transfers (intra and intercompany).
Additional Skills and Experience:
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Capability to manage projects and tasks independently as well as part of a team.
