Description We are inviting applications for the role of Sales Assistant at our manufacturing unit located in Wellford, South Carolina, United States. This role provides a unique opportunity to be part of our team where you will be primarily responsible for assisting in sales operations, managing customer relationships, and handling customer inquiries. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Engage with existing customers via phone calls and maintain strong relationships.

• Proactively reach out to customers who have not placed orders recently to understand their requirements.

• Facilitate order placements and provide necessary information regarding lead times.

• Utilize CRM and other data processing tools to maintain accurate customer records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as required.

• Ensure efficient handling of cash activity associated with sales.

• Use financial tools like ADP and Concur to process customer credit applications accurately.

• Develop understanding of buying processes and use it to enhance customer experience.

• Handle inbound calls, providing prompt and clear responses to customer inquiries.

• Use reporting tools like Crystal Reports for sales tracking and analysis. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing industry.

• Prior role as a Sales Assistant or a similar position.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services.

• Experience with Concur software.

• Strong knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

• Ability to use Crystal Reports tool effectively.

• Experience in Data Processing.

• Familiarity with About Time software.

• Comfortable in answering inbound calls in a detail-oriented manner.

• Understanding of buying processes within a manufacturing context.

• Capable of managing cash activity in a business setting.
