    Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting for a Senior Accounting Manager at a family office. This full-time, permanent role is based in San Francisco with a remote schedule.

    As Senior Accounting Manager, you'll lead accounting functions and gain exposure to cryptocurrency investments. This role offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to make a significant impact.

    Responsibilities:

    + Oversee accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

    + Prepare financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually in line with GAAP.

    + Work with external tax professionals on tax preparation, reporting, and liability.

    + Manage accounting for traditional investments, cryptocurrency, and private equity holdings.

    + Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.

    + Handle digital asset accounting and stay updated on regulations.

    + Improve processes and internal controls for better accuracy.

    + Communicate financial insights to family members, executives, and advisors.

    Requirements

    + CPA preferred.

    + 7+ years of accounting experience; MUST HAVE family office experience.

    + Knowledge of cryptocurrency accounting and investment frameworks.

    + Proficient in ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and Excel.

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
