Job Description:
The Assistant professor of the Practice may be appointed for up to an initial three-year period with possibility of renewal after a comprehensive review.
Teaching (60%)
+ Teach courses per academic year for the Lawrence Campus in the clinical psychology concentration to include clinic supervision to student therapists enrolled in graduate practicum courses
+ And/or undergraduate courses as directed by the chair to meet the needs of the psychology department.
Administration (30%)
+ Assist Director of KU Psychological Clinic in managing day-to-day operations of the Clinic (administration of Clinic, overseeing Clinic budget, supervising staff, coordinating services, engaging continuing education programming, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant privacy and safety standards, providing back-up coverage for the Clinic Director, program development, grant writing and fundraising)
Service (10%)
+ Provide direct clinical services (therapy, assessment) as needed
+ Participate in University, program or department committees when available
+ Participate in community outreach and professional development

2. Experience with in-person and tele-health clinical service provision in psychology

Position Overview:
The KU Psychological Clinic at the Lawrence campus provides psychological services to students and members of the community. The Associate Director of the KU Psychological Clinic will assist the Director of the Psychological Clinic. Their teaching will involve supervision of clinical concentration doctoral students enrolled in practica, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, and aiding with administration of the KU Psychological Clinic. The Assistant Professor of Practice position will be full-time in-person in accordance with the needs of the clinic.
