    This is an open-ended pool whereby applicants interested in part-time instruction for the School of Computing Sciences and Computer Engineering may apply. Applicants will be contacted as instruction needs arise. Please include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a copy of graduate transcripts when applying for this position.

    Job Summary

    Adjunct Faculty assist with the delivery of undergraduate courses within the School.

     

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Instruction of courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats

    + Prepare and submit syllabi, grades and other required course documentation in a timely manner

    + Assessment of student learning outcomes

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    Master’s degree in a discipline related to computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or cybersecurity.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

     

    + The ability to deliver accurate, concise, and quality communication (verbal and written) in timely manner.

    + The ability to work collaboratively with other faculty in the unit.

    + The ability to navigate and use learning management systems for teaching, such as Canvas

    + Proficiency in teaching strategies and techniques for diverse student populations

    Preferred Qualifications

    Demonstrated success in teaching at the university level

     

    Experience with the Canvas learning management system
