The Opportunity
As a Senior Analyst on the IT/Cyber Risk team, the qualified candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of the IT/Cyber Risk Management Framework through comprehensive analytics, reporting, and governance activities. This individual will be responsible for analyzing trends and themes related to technology, data, and information security (TSD) risks. Additionally, they will assist the IT/Cyber Governance Manager in executing various committee and policy oversight activities.

The Work Itself
* As a Senior Analyst on the IT/Cyber Risk team, the qualified candidate is responsible for executing the creating and maintaining data visualizations in support of the TSD Risk Framework.
* Conduct thematic analysis to identify and assess technology and cyber risks in alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and FFIEC.
* Analyze and interpret data to identify emerging trends and patterns in technology and cyber risks, and provide actionable insights to enhance the bank's risk management strategies.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that risk assessments and thematic analyses are integrated into the bank's overall risk management framework.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations on thematic analysis findings, and communicate these insights to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and controls based on thematic analysis outcomes.
The Skills You Bring
* 3+ years of relevant experience required
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study preferred
* Proven experience in IT/cyber risk management, data analysis, or a related field within the financial services industry.
* Strong knowledge of data analysis tools Excel, SQL, R.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
* General understanding of industry frameworks and standards related to technology and cyber risk management, including NIST, ISO 27001, and FFIEC.
* Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar are desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think critically.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for technology and cyber risk management.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support the IT/Cyber Governance Manager in executing committee and policy oversight activities.

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
