Responsibilities
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Principal Architect – Data & Integrations, responsible for working with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization’s Data and Integration strategy, processes, and technology assets. This individual will utilize knowledge and experience to link the business mission, strategy, and processes of the organization to the IT strategy, and document this utilizing multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.
Key Accountabilities :
St rategic Leadership
+ Develop, maintain , and champion an enterprise-wide Data and Integration architectural blueprint and roadmap
+ Align IT strategy and solutions with company business objectives
+ Provide strategic consultation to business customers on technology-based solutions and enabling technologies
+ Present architectural concepts with compelling qualitative and quantitative findings to all stakeholders
+ Architecture Development & Governance
+ Create a roadmap for data, integrations, data stores, and applications
+ Orchestrate solutions that leverage existing investments in heterogeneous IT environments
+ Develop, manage, and publish Technical Reference Architectures
+ Establish standards and processes to meet quality and security requirements
+ Monitor and manage Technical Debt within the environment
+ Assist with Data Governance Leadership
Collaboration & Advisory
+ Partner with PMO, business users, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to Enterprise Architecture principles
+ Analyze IT environments to identify critical deficiencies and recommend improvement solutions
+ Support business case development and cost-benefit analysis while mitigating project risk
+ Build relationships with development and engineering teams to understand application requirements
Technical Leadership & Knowledge Management
+ Influence implementation best practices and provide solutions to technical challenges
+ Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer to enhance IT department maturity
+ Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization
+ Continuously update Data and Integration architecture requirements based on emerging technologies
Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
+ 10+ years of experience with Enterprise Applications, Integrations, Databases and Cloud environments
+ 5+ years in an architect or technical leadership capacity
Technical Expertise
+ Expert knowledge of Cloud platforms and governance, particularly Microsoft Azure
+ Advanced understanding of Cloud-based Systems Integration, Enterprise Data Security, and Architecture Governance
+ Extensive knowledge of cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks
+ Thorough understanding of data access and transfer patterns, APIs, and integration methodologies
+ Knowledge of modern data retrieval technologies, such as GraphQL (desirable)
+ Proficiency in modeling of data (UML, ArchiMate, ERDs, etc.) and data architectures
+ Deep experience with Healthcare provider (ASC) platforms, offering trusted strategic guidance at executive decision-making levels
+ Knowledge of data in a healthcare setting, including HL7/FHIR standards
+ Experience with HIPAA data protection requirements and implementation
+ Mastery of TOGAF framework (certification preferred)
+ Proven expertise in risk management methodologies for integration and software engineering
+ Thorough understanding of SDLC processes, architectural patterns, and development frameworks
Data Governance & Management
+ Thorough knowledge of data governance best practices and frameworks
+ Experience documenting data usage across the enterprise, including sources and consumers
+ Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain data quality standards
Leadership & Strategy
+ Demonstrated success creating enterprise-wide Application architecture frameworks
+ Proven ability to align business strategy with IT capabilities
+ Experience establishing unified architecture vision between Facilities and Support Services
+ Strong competency communicating architecture value to executives and stakeholders
+ Experience with Vendor relationship management and strategic partnerships
+ Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions diligence and integrations (desirable)
