    Job Title: Parking Garage Attendant/Cashier

     

    Department: Operations

     

    Reports To: Parking Garage Manager

     

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

     

    Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

     

    SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, directing, and controlling of traffic in the parking garage.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times. This position works all sections of the garage, directing traffic to appropriate areas. Keep garage free of debris. Report all incidents and situations that may affect the operation of the garage. Count and verify the bank. Reconcile bank and tickets sold at the end of the day. Exercise restraint and patience when dealing with a disruptive customer. All other duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    Good communication skills. Must be able to effectively and appropriately assist guests by answering questions and helping them with their concerns. Employee must be at least 18 years old. Prior cashier experience helpful. HS Diploma/GED preferred. Must have access to reliable transportation. Position may be confrontational.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires is exposed to the elements (heat, rain, snow, etc.). Requires the ability to sit in a booth for extended periods of time, stand and walk around the parking garage
