Clean Energy Engineer - Distribution Planning

Required Education/Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of engineering work experience. or
+ Master's Degree in Engineering and 2 years of engineering work experience.
Preferred Education/Experience
+ Master's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2 years of engineering work experience.

+ Proven leadership skills, innovation, and ability to adapt to change, required.
+ Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills and accountability, required.
+ Ability to exercise independent judgment and render sound business decisions, required.
+ Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, as well as with customers, vendors, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders, required.
+ Well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and projects, able to implement process improvements, and able to meet deadlines, required.
+ Hands-on experience configuring, programming, and testing Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) RTAC, RTUs, HMIs, or PLCs for SCADA systems, required.
+ Hands-on experience with configuring and programming OSIsoft PI-Historian, required.
+ Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, required.
+ The ability to understand and prepare one-line diagrams, required.
+ Knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau, preferred.
+ Familiarity with MS Visio, preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
+ Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
+ Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
+ Must be able to work from the Company's corporate headquarters in New York City
+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed. Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
+ May be required to carry handouts, laptop computer, etc. to meetings.
