POSITION TITLE: Production Technician/Part-Time
REPORTS TO: Director of IT & Production Manager
KFOR/KAUT is looking for a motivated individual to join our production team.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to handle the pressure of a chaotic control room environment. Must be available to work weekends and holidays and be available for call-in due to unscheduled breaking news and severe weather events. Will be expected to work closely with newscast director and team to present a fast paced, highly produced and mistake free newscasts. Must have the ability to lift 60lbs and climb ladders to change studio lighting. Must have the ability to move and set up various studio sets.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Strong computer skills Basic understanding of shot composition, lighting and studio sets. Must be able to adapt to changing workflow processes. Working knowledge of audio operations, camera robotics, prompters, show coding and execution.
