The Material Handler will report to the warehouse manager and will review material requirements for actual and forecasted production, coordinate the flow of material through manufacturing lines and analyze material requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Partnering with necessary departments to located needed material.

+ Investigate the cause of schedule delays caused by missing or shortage of materials and initiate action to correct the problems

+ Review materials and supplies inventories to analyze for adequate levels of materials to meet projected production needs.

+ Coordinate movement of materials, intermediate and finished goods and examine materials, destination, delivery and packaging requirements prior to moving materials

+ Monito and re-order are operating supplies as per established guidelines

+ Maintain required paperwork, records, documents, and reporting.

+ Monitor production schedules daily for actual and forecasted production.

+ Monitor email for MOs issued for Finished Goods.

+ Utilize Infor M3 program to access list of available inventories.

+ Operate industrial equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and tow mule.

+ Assist warehouse techs as needed and pull material from warehouse racks/locations.

+ Weekend call/coverage as needed.

+ Conduct inventories and cycle counts

+ Participate and lead the annual inventory in your respective area.

Requirements:

HS diploma or equivalent

Prior Chemical Manufacturing experience preferred

Experience with MS-Office and systems required.

Previous experience with inventory control, purchasing and planning is preferred.

Forklift certification required.
