    Description

    SAIC is seeking an **Engineering Tech V** to support the US Navy in **Crane, IN** .

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Position requires the management of threat devices including inventory management, device troubleshooting and repair, as well as validation and verification of repairs throughout their test life cycle.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Candidate will use 3D printer work to aid in the use and repair of threat devices

    + Employee will be responsible for testing layout including setup and tear down of device track, support generators, cell towers, connection, and management of devices on the network

    + Troubleshoot and repair electronic devices

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + HS/GED and 2 or more years of relative experience

    + Mechanical and electrical background

    + Ability to troubleshoot electronic devices and recommend/execute toward a resolution of issues

    + Familiar with the use of an oscilloscope

    + Able to work outdoors and perform basic lifting and assembly actions

    + Able to function in a team environment as well as focus on individual assignments

    + Must be able to travel at times. Travel will be to local test events 1-2 times a month as well as non local travel 1-2 times per year

    + Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process

    + US Citizenship

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    + Familiarity with radios, drones, cellphones

    + Forklift certification and MRAP license

    + 7711/7721 solder certification

    + Electronic PIC programming/coding knowledge
