    Job Description

    Kemps in Cedarburg is looking for hard-working people who want to work (1-2) shifts per week / (10-20) hours per week in our Plant Case-room!

     

    This is an excellent way to make extra money while gaining fun experience working side-by-side with our dedicated team members in the fast-moving world of milk manufacturing!

     

    **Location:** W55 N155 McKinley Blvd, Cedarburg, WI 53012

    **Hours:** 4am-4pm on Saturdays, with the possibility of an additional 8 hour shift at some other point in the week if you'd like more hours.

    POSITION TASKS:

    + Unload cases, pallets, return product, and remove unwanted items from returning truck trailers.

    + Keep an accurate count of cases and pallets that return on the truck trailers.

    + Keep the bottling machines supplied with clean and sanitized cases.

    + Operate the case washer and related sanitizing equipment in a safe manner.

    + Perform cleanup on the case washer and other cleaning / sanitizing equipment daily.

    Requirements

    + Must be able to operate clamp truck, forklift and / or pallet-jacks in a safe and efficient manner (Willing to train the right person).

    + Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

    + Effective verbal and written communications skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.

    + Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift.

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high.

    + Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit.

    + May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
